About me

I am a senior Ieadership and transformation advisor, working with senior leaders, their teams, and organizations to help them ignite change and unlock new levels of performance and growth.

I spent more than 20 years in leadership roles in various industries. Throughout my career,
I focused on coaching both individuals and teams to raise ambitions, ranging from 1:1 coaching relationships to top-management team development work and larger-scale support on organizational transformation and change.

  • In my most recent global role as Managing Director and Senior Vice President for People & Transformation at Obi, a European DIY retailer, I led a team of more than 350 professionals. I was responsible for shaping and executing the company’s global people strategy as well as for driving the culture transformation for almost 40,000 colleagues.

    Prior to this, I worked for McKinsey & Company, a global management consultancy, including six years as Partner. I helped design and lead numerous strategic growth transformations as well as re-organizations for clients across different industries. As Director of People and member of the Operating Committee, I was responsible for managing the entire talent lifecycle for the firm’s operations in Germany & Austria.

  • Furthermore, I focused on aligning McKinsey´s personnel strategy and processes for the future and enhancing the firm´s corporate culture.
    Working closely with McKinsey’s global board, I also led a major culture change initiative to improve the client & team experience globally.

    I hold a Diploma in European Business Administration from the University of Bamberg (Germany) and the University of Granada (Spain). I also hold an MBA from INSEAD (France and Singapore).

    I live with my husband and my three children in Cologne, Germany.
